The concept of Mobinetel was born a few years ago during a road trip in Burundi, where phone recharge vendors had to carry four phones to recharge all mobile operators. Since its official launch in January 2021, we have continuously reimagined the distribution and accessibility of mobile services. We started with electronic recharges and expanded into mobile money, SMS, and USSD, with no limit to our imagination.
